#10) Forrest Gump

This movie has just the right amount of everything. There’s comedy, drama, and even some action. Maybe it was a formula film, but they certainly had the formula down.

#9) Chariots of Fire

It’s an inspiring movie based on a true story. “I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast. And when I run I feel His pleasure.”

#8) The Truman Show

Before I ever saw this movie, I had always suspected something like this. Ever feel like everybody is watching you?

#7) Meet the Parents

If it can go wrong in this movie, it does, but somehow, it all turns out okay in the end. I would say it is my favorite comedy.

#6) The Godfather Part II

My favorite of the Godfather trilogy, The Godfather Part II is an enlightening series of movies that show how bad things could be, in my opinion.

#5) The Matrix

I found this to be a rather original concept. The best part was that nobody ruined the movie for me before I had a chance to see it. For whatever reason, I didn’t feel the sequels lived up to the original in this trilogy.

#4) Star Wars

I like the original version of what is now Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, before it was remastered and had a different ending. It’s the ultimate sci-fantasy, with the high-tech weapons and the Force. It’s no wonder the series became so popular when you see how good the original was.

#3) It's a Wonderful Life

I like to watch this every year around Christmas time. It’s a tear-jerker, even though the black and white might be hard for some people to connect with these days.

#2) Gladiator

We do not use swords and bows this day in age, but this movie makes me wish we did.

My eyes have never been wetter during a movie than they were when I watched Facing the Giants.
