The Crossing – Arkane Studios, Austin TX                           Level Designer (Intern)

  • Designed and created one sandbox level, and seven prototype levels in Hammer.
  • Captured game footage, and edited two gameplay movies, and one trailer for pitch materials
  • Designed and created a DVD for pitch materials using Adobe Encore.

Son of Ithaca                                                                         Lead Level Designer

Son of Ithaca is a single player mod for Half-life 2 that brings the excitement of a hack-and-slash 3d platform game to a classic Greek setting. 

  • Designed, built, scripted the one level
  • Scheduled and assigned tasks to four other level designers
  • Modeled and textured four environmental art assets
  • Team size: 13 (5 Level Designers, 4 Artist, and 4 Programers)

Steam Warfare                                                                        Lead Level Designer

Steam Warfare is a team-based mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 with a Steam-punk twist. Choose between four classes and fight with your friends head-to-head in an assault-style deathmatch with RTS elements. 

  • Wrote four level abstracts, and one level design document
  • Designed, built, textured, lit, and decorated one level
  • Created and textured over 15 models
  • Team size: 9 ( 4 Level designers, 3 programmers, and 2 artist

 

 

Lobot: Best Guess Kung Fu                            Game Designer / Level Designer

Lobot: Best Guess Kung Fu, is your average tale about a bipedal novelty paper shredder out for revenge. An evil corporate stole your Master’s Kung Fu school, and it is up to you to get it back. In this 2D action packed adventure Lobot must fight his way through hordes of corporate robots, ninjas, and genetically engineered middle managers. Explore expansive hand drawn environments, discover hidden secrets, and find hilarious Easter eggs. 

  • Wrote a game design document
  • Designed, and created one level
  • Created all of the environmental texture sets in level two
  • Team size: 3 (2 Level designers, and 1 artist)
