Game Development Experience

Joint Wargaming Training Extension – Internship                                                                                         July – December 2006

GUI Artist/Test Designer/ Scripter                                                                                             Team Torque Game Engine Project

  • Interned as one of two level designers developing a Joint Wargaming Training Extension prototype training simulation for the  US military – working under the Institute for Advancing Technology government contract

  • Used assets provided by government technology to create six lessons and tests within the Torque Game Engine for combat medic training

Toybox Heroes                                                                                                                               September 2006 – March 2007

Level Designer                                                                                                                                      Team Half-Life 2 Project

  • Part of a 15-person team (3 Artists, 7 Level Designers, and 5 Programmers) creating a multiplayer, small area, free-roaming-fighter similar to Power Stone

  • Built one trap and four props for the Dollhouse level

  • Modeled, unwrapped, and textured more than four physic meshes

Wide Open Mod                                                                                                                                           January – April 2004

Producer & Developer                                                                                                                Solo Impossible Creatures Project

  • Developed and released this game-play-altering mod for Impossible Creatures, by Relic Entertainment, while working full-time  at First Convenience Bank

  • Altered Lua files to balance the game in a different manner

  • Altered other game files to change functionality and animations for the bat creature

  • Altered a rarely played Relic map to be more like a classic map
