As a kid, I was always creative and imaginative in what-ever I
did or planned. My fascination for graphics and games grew right
from my first console which was Atari 6800 to Nintendo 64 and
Sega. After completing my high school, I wanted to present all
those imaginary ideas on a canvas. I pursued Science after high
school and chose Computer Science for Bachelors.
As I was building that foundation, I learned al the theoretical
and partial practical concepts in my engineering. All the nuts
and bolts that go in to build a complete practical software
system were etched clearly. And this knowledge was used when I
built a "Security and Monitoring System" as my final year
academic project. Apart from course work, I always practiced
programming on Turbo C++ and created small scale games.
After graduating as a Computer Science engineer from University
of Mumbai, India, I wanted to build that creative and
technical aspects in me. I joined Guildhall @ SMU with a
definite and a clear vision to be a game programmer. The
course that Guildhall provides is very intense and equally
professional and that fascinated me. Everyday, I learn something
new academically which will help me grow as a professional game
developer. This institute has provided me with the knowledge
that I can use to pursue my goals in this industry.
