| The bulk of what goes into level design cannot be represented fully by screenshots alone. Alot of decision making, creative problem solving, and teamwork goes into each level. The above documents give you a brief glimpse into my level design thought process. They show you what I use for inspiration, how I think about what makes levels fun, how I approach problems and how I solve them. |

| I have learned that one of the most important parts of level design is clearly communicating the idea of a level to your superiors and teammates. I begin every level with paper designs and textual descriptions that can be iterated upon before any time is spent bulding geometry. The above are design documents that I have made for some of the projects I worked on. I have also included the game design document I wrote for the project I am currently working on. |
