Project Title: Toybox Heroes Engine: Hammer (Half-Life 2)
Role: Level Designer / Associate Producer Development Time: 6 Months
  Description:

Currently in development, Toybox Heroes is a fighting game created in the Half-Life 2 engine.  Created in the vein of games such as Super Smash Bros. and Power Stone, this game finds actions figures battling in real world environments.  My role as Associate Producer finds me managing a team of 15 (three artists, seven level designers, and five programmers) and overseeing all development issues.

In addition to my managerial work as Associate Producer, I have been able to work as a Level Designer, as well.  When discussing the production cycle, we decided to create small level design teams consisting of two designers; one with an art focus, and one scripter.  On my team, I took the role of the scripter, designing and implementing multiple traps and interactive environmental objects within this level.  In addition, I modeled, unwrapped, and textured multiple objects, including the Nerf Dart Pump and the slot car racetrack.
